What is E-Juice?
E-juice or e-liquid is a liquid solution that is used in electronic cigarettes. A small amount of liquid is heated with a micro-heater in the cigarette to produce vapor and give the taste of selected flavor.
What Ingredients are Used to Make E-juice?
E-juice has four major ingredients:

What is the Nicotine Strength in an E-Juice?
The e-liquid may or may not have nicotine. It is possible to choose an e- liquid with the desired strength of nicotine. An e-juice marked as 0 mg nicotine strength contains no nicotine. The medium level e-juice has 12 or 18 mg nicotine while at the higher level it can go as high as 24 mg. Heavy smokers start with high strength nicotine e-juice while light smokers start with medium strength nicotine e-juice. Over time, they move to e-juices with lower level of nicotine content. It helps them quit nicotine addiction entirely.
Does E-Juice Go Bad?
It depends on several factors. A good quality unopened e-juice stored under the right conditions can have a shelf life of about two years. The e-juice goes bad in about six months time after opening the liquid vial. It takes a lot longer for it to go bad if the seal of the vial is not opened. At the same time, the time the e-juice will go bad depends on the liquid quality and the type of storage used to store it. The shelf life of e-juice also depends on type of flavoring, PG/VG mix and quality of nicotine. For increased shelf life, the e-juice should be stored under favorable condition in a cool, dark and dry place as recommended by the manufacturing company.
Is Vaping E-Juice Bad for You?
E-juice has less negative effects compared to smoking leaf tobacco cigarettes because there is no burning of tobacco which releases tar and other carcinogen substances during smoking. The nicotine content of an e-cig can be bad if a smoker continues to smoke e-juices containing high levels of nicotine. The advantage with the use of e-cigarette is that the smoker has a choice to reduce the nicotine strength in the e-juice over time, which is not possible with traditional cigarettes.
